About Romco Builders
Who runs your Miami-Dade painting job
Romco Builders is a licensed Florida general contractor, headquartered in Fort Lauderdale and founded in 2015. Commercial painting is one of the scopes it runs.
Romco approaches a repaint the way a general contractor approaches any scope: define the work, confirm the approvals, phase it around the people in the building, and close it out with a punch list.
In Miami-Dade that starts with the address. A folio beginning with 30 sits under the county. Anything else answers to one of 35 city building officials, and several of those cities add a color review on top, from the Coral Gables Board of Architects to the Bal Harbour Architectural Review Board.
Work that needs its own license or certification, such as lead abatement, mold, roofing or structural repair, is coordinated with firms that hold it. Romco manages the sequence so the painting scope follows the repair, not the other way round.

The rules Romco holds itself to
- Quotes describe the scope in writing. No figures appear on this site because every building differs.
- No completion date is promised before rain, approvals and tenant access are known.
- No claim of past jobs, client names or reviews appears here. When Romco has photos of its own Miami-Dade work, they will be labelled as such.
- Where a rule is unclear, such as a city's color review for commercial buildings, Romco asks the city before work starts rather than guessing.
